Terms of Service
Last Updated: August 11, 2026 · Effective Date: August 11, 2026
Introduction
These Terms of Service (the "Terms") are an agreement between you and Lyntra Technology Ltd ("we", "us", or the "Company") governing your use of Lyntra Player (the "App"). By downloading, installing, or using the App, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App.
1. The App
Lyntra Player is a media player utility. It allows you to open compatible local files and media sources that you choose. The App does not provide, host, sell, recommend, or bundle any media content.
The App has no subscriptions, in-app purchases, paid tiers, or third-party advertising.
2. Your Media and Sources
- You are solely responsible for the files and media sources you add to or open with the App.
- You must have the legal right to access and play all media you use with the App.
- You must not use the App to access, copy, distribute, publicly perform, or otherwise use content in violation of copyright, privacy, or other applicable laws.
- We do not monitor, review, control, or endorse media sources selected by users.
3. Permitted Use
We grant you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, and revocable license to install and use the App for lawful, non-commercial purposes.
You must not:
- reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, modify, or attempt to extract the App's source code except where applicable law expressly permits it;
- interfere with, damage, or misuse the App or any network or system accessed through it;
- use the App to infringe intellectual property or other rights;
- sell, rent, sublicense, or redistribute the App without our written permission;
- impersonate the Company or claim that your content or service is provided or endorsed by us.
4. Local Data
The App stores media sources, playback history, favorites, cache, and preferences locally on your device. The App does not provide cloud backup or synchronization. Uninstalling the App, clearing its data, changing devices, or losing access to your device may permanently delete this information. You are responsible for keeping your own backups where necessary.
5. Availability and Compatibility
Playback depends on factors outside our control, including file format, codec support, the availability of a media source, your network, device, and operating system. We do not guarantee that every file or source will work, or that playback will always be uninterrupted or error-free.
We may update, change, suspend, or discontinue the App or any feature when reasonably necessary.
6. Intellectual Property
The App, including its software, interface, name, graphics, and documentation, is owned by the Company or its licensors and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws. These Terms do not transfer ownership of the App to you.
Rights in media played through the App remain with their respective owners. The ability to play media does not grant you any rights to that media.
7. Disclaimer
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the App is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, availability, accuracy, and non-infringement.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Company will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, loss of data, loss of content, loss of profits, service interruption, or claims arising from media or sources you choose to access. Where liability cannot be excluded, it will be limited to the minimum amount required by applicable law.
9. Termination
You may stop using the App at any time by uninstalling it. Your right to use the App ends automatically if you materially breach these Terms. Provisions that by their nature should continue after termination will remain in effect.
10. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms when the App or applicable requirements change. The updated version will be published on this page with a revised effective date. Your continued use of the App after an update means you accept the revised Terms.
11. Governing Law and Disputes
These Terms are governed by applicable law. Any dispute should first be addressed through good-faith negotiation. If it cannot be resolved, either party may bring the matter before a court with lawful jurisdiction.
